I've always found it quite scary expressing to others my biggest dreams for the fear of them telling me they're silly. It's like when you're so excited about a project you've put your heart and soul into and then your teacher gives you a bad grade. You start to second guess yourself and rethink it all, wondering why you were so proud of it, yet someone else couldn't see its greatness. Sharing my ideal perfect world with you all is intimidating for me, but it truly is my version of perfection and optimal bliss. When I first discovered my love for makeup I was in middle school. I stumbled upon a Nikkie Tutorials makeup tutorial on Youtube and the title peaked my interest. That one video turned into another and another, until I had watched every single makeup video she had ever posted. That one Youtube channel lead to me finding more channels just like hers, and not only did my love for makeup flourish, but also my love for Youtube. I was so inspired by Nikkie and what she was doing online, that I decided to create my own channel. I started on my low quality webcam with drugstore makeup and shared my new found love with a small portion of the world.
As time went on my makeup collection grew to an outrageous size as well as my love for filming. I purchased my first real camera at the age of eighteen. It was a Canon DSLR and I treated that thing like it was my first child. The more I played around with it I discovered my style of visuals and editing preferences. I love the essence of creativity, and with film and photography I could capture images and make them my own.
The whole point of my imaginary world is based upon the desire to inspire others. My favorite feeling is when I am so inspired I stay up all night concocting new ideas and visions. All I want in my ideal world/life is to produce inspiration and share it with people in hopes that they then feel stimulated and have the itch to create something on their own.
