Final Project Proposal

     I will be working on this final project alone.  I really want to try out a claymation which would incorporate all of my video knowledge I already have, text, and sound.  I have made a claymation once before back in high school so I know the very basics of them. While this will be time consuming I think that it would be a fun challenge and I know I could get it done.
     I wanted to make a Christmas themed story about a Snowman named Snowflake that gets built by a child who the next day leaves for his grandmothers house for the holidays, leaving Snowflake all by himself and lonely.  Snowflake decides to venture off into the woods because he is sad and feels forgotten.  He ends up meeting a penguin and a reindeer in the woods and has to decide if he wants to follow the penguin to the North Pole or the reindeer who is going down South because he is sick of Santa bossing him around.  Basically this will be an interactive story with four different endings that will be selected by the viewer.
      I will do this selection with hyperlinks that will take the reader to another video. All the videos will be uploaded to Youtube.  I cannot think of an easier way to do this even though I'm sure there is one out there.  It is going to be a lot of work, especially since I will have to create different scenes as different videos to be able to link them in another video but I think if I start soon enough I will be okay. 
      This story would work perfectly for a multimedia platform because where the story goes solely depends upon the watcher and I think the visuals of the clay character

s will make the story more life like and entertaining.  The idea behind this story is not a very complex one so I think without a multimedia component going along with it, it would be mundane.
